Got front row tickets to see the poet 'FISH' at the Bolton Albert Hall in October and I can’t wait! Apparently, 'D' is incorporating the 1985 Marillion album "Misplaced Childhood" in with his solo material as it was a huge success in the Netherlands back in 2002. Personally, I would have prefered "A Script For A Jesters Tear" but you can’t have everything. Oops! Almost forgot, the thread was "Marillion," but all of you die hard zealots will know that "FISH" is and always will be Marillion. No offence "H" but you will never compare! try as you may.

Hi folks,
Back in the 1980's, Marillion used to open for Rush here in America. Rush's fans used to boo Marillion. They were brutal to them. They used to chant "Marillion sucks...we want Rush" over and over again at the concerts.
I have a double CD album of Marillion. I think it is called "La Gaza Ladro" (or similar). Marillion was a pretty good band. They were very similar to Genesis.

Just returned from the "Return to Childhood" gig at the Bolton Albert Hall last Monday and I have to say: it was absolutely awe-inspiring! – Wow! what a show!!! I have been an avid FISH disciple since his aeon captivating days with the then, unadulterated Marillion and I genuinely feel that this guy hasn’t faltered one iota. Anyway, here’s to a return to "Fugazi" or "Jester" tour… maybe? Ok its wishful thinking – would be nice though! Also, you have probably noticed from my last post that I’m not a great lover of the current line-up of Marillion? Nonetheless, I am going to see them next month at the Manchester Academy and I will let you know my views afterwards. Cheers
