Hi folks,
Rep. Vito Fossella (R-NY) is up to his old tricks again. He's "all over the field". Last year, he supported legislation that would have severely cut Medicaid - which would have been devastating to low-income disabled people (like myself). This year, he sort of back-tracked on it. From reading the newspapers, I know that he caught A LOT of heat for that vote.
About 1 year ago, Vito was on the front page of the Staten Island Advance. He helped a disabled child in a wheelchair obtain medical services. There is something that people (and Vito) fail to realize. When that child becomes an adult, it will be impossible for him to get off welfare because of scumbags like Vito who are opposed to NHCL.
If Vito REALLY cared about disabled people, he'd be busting his ass trying to get NHCL passed. He wouldn't be voting in favor of laws that are gutting the shit out of the Medicaid program.
If Vito no longer wants to represent the people of SI, then he should resign. If he no longer wants to advocate for the peolpe of SI, then he shouldn't run for re-election.

Hi folks,
Vito should think twice before he hurts disabled people, especially low-income disabled people. I have written several letters to Vito in the past, but it hasn't done any good.
Vito is not helping my situation any (by being opposed to NHCL). In fact, he's only making it worse. With each passing year, it gets more and more difficult for low-income disabled people to get off welfare. Vito is only pouring more fuel on the fire.
Vito's nose is so far up Pres. Bush's ass that he can't even see reality right in front of his face. I think he has "brown stuff" on his nose from Pres. Bush's ass.
Hey Vito, don't worry about it. Everything is perfect. There are no problems in this country. Just keep on kissing, sucking, and licking Pres. Bush's ass.

Hi folks,
My, how fast Vito voted in favor of tax cuts for the rich. This legislation benefitted the wealthiest 10-15% of Americans.
I guess disabled people can just drop dead.
Hey Vito, if you want a war, I'll give you a war. You know the old saying: "The pen is mightier than the sword!"
When I make up my mind to go to war with someone, it isn't pretty. I actually feel sorry for that person. I don't hold anything back. I am relentless in my attacks on that person.
Right now, on a scale from 1 to 10, my anger level toward the government is about a 10,000. I don't think you want to feel my wrath (the "wrath of the lamb").

Hi folks,
Several weeks ago, SI hosted its second "Gay Pride" parade. Vito's mother and sister were there. They criticized him because of his views on certain issues.
Hey Vito, could your own family members be wrong?
Vito and I both claim to be "Conservative Republicans". But, obviously, one of us has a SEVERE misunderstanding of what it means to be a "Conservative Republican".
About 5-10 years ago, I agreed with Vito on 100% of the issues. Now, I agree with him on about 30% of the issues, and I disagree with him on about 70% of the issues. I haven't changed. I'm still the same person I was 5-10 years ago. My political ideals haven't changed. So, it has to be Vito who has changed.

Hi folks,
Each year, Gov. Pataki keeps cutting Medicaid more and more. This year, he really went too far.
NY state has a drug "formulary" for Medicaid. It is a list of approved drugs. If a drug is not on that list, it is a "banned drug". However, NYS doctors have "veto power". They can override that list if they insist that a drug is absolutely medically necessary. And the state must pay for it. This year, Gov. Pataki tried to eliminate that provision that allows doctors to override the formulary. Low-income disabled people would have been SEVERELY f**ked!
Fortunately, the NYS legislature overrode Gov. Pataki and his foolish idea.

Hi folks,
Gov. Pataki is being a real f**king scumbag lately. He better cut this f**king shit out.
I'm getting hemmed in from both sides (federal government and state government). There is no reason why someone with my background (the model life that I have led, my educational background, etc.) should even be on welfare in the first place. There is no need for this. I can't get off welfare because that f**king cock-sucking scumbag bastard in the White House (Pres. Bush) refuses to pass NHCL. Now, Pataki wants to limit the drugs available to low-income disabled people. I'm ready to f**king explode.
Gov. Pataki is acting like I have nothing else better to do but get prescriptions filled for drugs I don't even need. Sure, I do that all the time.

Hi folks,
It's bad enough that we have private health insurance companies telling doctors what to do.
Now, Gov. Pataki wants to say to doctors: "No, you can't give that patient drug A. You must give him drug B". I didn't know he wanted to "play doctor". He has no medical background, but he wants to tell doctors what they can and can't do. He wants to dictate to doctors in NYS what prescriptions they can and can't write.
Hey Gov. Pataki, I'll tell you what. Why don't you just put on a white lab coat, walk into the exam room, and treat the patient yourself? Don't laugh. It's coming to that.
You better think twice before you hurt disabled people, especially low-income disabled people.

Hi folks,
Elliot Spitzer is NY state's Attorney General. He is running for governor.
He's a real f**king scumbag. It has nothing to do with politics. It's personal. I don't like what he did to my doctor (Dr. Nair). He had Dr. Nair arrested and brought up on "bullshit" charges (something like a 35-count indicment). The cops dragged Dr. Nair out of his office in handcuffs. Then, Elliot made some ridiculous, slanderous, and absurd statements to the media about Dr. Nair. It was all "bullshit". Eventually, Dr. Nair was cleared of all charges (except for 1 "bullshit" charge).
Dr. Nair did ABSOLUTELY nothing wrong!!! If I were in his shoes, I probably would have done the same thing - and I'm an intelligent and educated person. At one point during this whole "circus", Dr. Nair asked me if I would go to court to testify on his behalf. I told him that I would. I ABSOLUTELY would have gone to court to testify for him. I sent letters to numerous politicians in an effort to help him.
Doctors in America today are in a quandry. If they write a prescription, they get in trouble. And if they DON'T write a prescription, they get in trouble. So, what the f**k are they supposed to do? It's like they are damned if they do, and they are damned if they don't.
If a patient walks into a doctor's office and says, "Last Thursday night at 8:00 PM I experienced anxiety", how is a doctor supposed to tell if the patient is lying or telling the truth? There is no test that a doctor can give that can definitively determine if that patient was really experiencing anxiety.
Dr. Nair was "framed" and "set up" by Elliot Spitzer. I am not the only person who feels this way. I was also told this by several doctors who sympathized with Dr. Nair and his situation.
Now, this f**king cock-sucking bastard (Elliot Spitzer) wants to be governor of NYS.

Hi folks,
Liz Connely was my representative in NY state's government for many years. She just died a few months ago. She was a "retard".
She was the epitome of the 1970s NYC Liberal Democrat. She was like a female version of Ted Kennedy.
I disagreed with her on 100% of the issues. I can't think of 1 issue where I actually agreed with her. If you wanted to know my position on an issue, all you had to do was ask Liz what her position was. Then, go exactly 180 degrees in the opposite direction. Yet, this women was my "representative".
She did NOT understand the issues. Whenever I wrote to her, she would respond with a letter that didn't make any sense at all. She had no "grasp" or "feel" for the issues. She didn't know what the hell she was talking about. She was as useless as tits on a bull. I was so happy when she retired several years ago. Good riddance.
When she died, many people said that she was a champion for disabled people. They cited her efforts to close down SIDC/WSS as an example. I don't understand those statements because she never did a damn thing to help me.
She also did something back in the 1980s that really infuriated me. But I will explain that in more detail in my autobiography.

Hi folks,
Eric Vitaliano was a SI representative in NY state's government. He is a judge now. I liked Eric a lot. He was okay - for a Democrat (I'm a Republican). He's a really nice guy. Unfortunately, Eric wasn't in my district, so I couldn't vote for him.
Whenever I wrote to Eric, he REALLY tried to help me. I could tell it wasn't just words. He tried to help me more than my own representatives.
Eric was very intelligent and down to Earth. He also had a "feel" or "grasp" for the issues. He REALLY understood the issues affecting middle-class/working-class people. I think the reason for this is that Eric came from a middle-class/working-class background. I think his father was a mailman or something like that. Whenever I wrote to Eric, he REALLY understood what I was talking about and what I wanted politicians to do - more so than any other politician in NY state's government.
Now that Eric is no longer a politician, I really miss him. I think Eric advocated for me more than any other politician in NY state's government - and he wasn't even in my district.
My father (who is a retired NYC firefighter) really liked Eric too, more so than any other SI representative in NY state's government.

Hi folks,
Sen. Marchi is a senator in NY state's government. I have mixed feelings about him.
Whenever I wrote to him, he rarely responded. When he did respond, he was opposed to my suggestions. So, he really wasn't helpful at all.
I think he stayed in politics too long. He should have retired a LONG time ago.

Hi folks, Sen. Diane Savino is a senator in NY state's government. She is a relative newcomer, so it's difficult for me to judge her. She is a Democrat, but she appears to have more traits of Eric Vitaliano than Liz Connely. This is good. She seems to be a VERY ANGRY person. About 90% of the time that I see he picture in the SI Advance, she looks very, VERY angry - like she wants to kill someone. She looks like she's mad at the world. I don't know what this is all about. This isn't necessarily a bad thing. Sometimes, anger can be good - if it is used the right way. Many good laws in this country have come about as a result of someone's (or a group of person's) anger. The MADD laws are a perfect example of this. Physically speaking, Diane is an incredibly beautiful woman. She looks a lot like my mother did when she was younger. About the only time I saw her happy in the newspaper was when she was at the second SI Gay Pride parade. One thing about her that I don't like is that, on a few occasions, she had her picture taken with Rev. Al Sharpton. He's nothing but a f**king trouble-maker. He's a scumbag. I can't stand him. I think she is doing herself (her political career) a great disservice by having her picture taken with Al. She should do what Rudy Guiliani did and refuse to have her picture taken with Al. Something hilarious happened about a year ago. Diane's picture was in the SI Advance with Mike McMahon (another politician). They were seated next to each other. Diane had this look on her face - like Mike just ripped a big one. It looked like Mike stepped on a duck, and Diane was smelling bad gas. When I saw that picture, I bursted out hysterical laughing. I always remembered that picture. Augie

Hi folks,
Newt Gingrich was a politician in the federal government back in the 1990s. In the beginning, I liked him. But then he became a traitor to his own cause. I turned against him.
I thought his orphanage idea was a great idea. Children learn by example. In certain situations, children should be taken away from their parents and put in an orphanage. There, they can be taught how to be responsible citizens. There are people here in NYC where this is their 4th or 5th or 6th generation on welfare. They just pass it on from generation to generation to generation. Someone must break that cycle of dependency and get these people off welfare.
Newt turned into a real f**king scumbag. What really pissed me off was his opposition to Hillary's NHCL proposal. It's because of peolpe like Newt that I can't get off welfare. Newt is more responsible for me being in this situation than just about any other person on this planet.
Newt was supposedly a Christian Conservative. But he had an extra-marital affair.

Hi folks, I mentioned Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) earlier in this thread. I don't know what more I can add. I love that man. I agree with him on 100% of the issues. I can't think of 1 issue where I disagree with him. Right now, he is my favorite politician in the federal government. Augie

Hi folks, I also mentioned Rudy Guiliani earlier in this thread. I don't have much to add. I love that man. I agree with him on 95-100% of the issues. I sincerely hope that Guiliani and McCain are our next president and VP (or vice-versa). Rudy is NYC's former mayor. He was our mayor during the 9/11/01 terrorist attacks. He showed tremendous leadership ability during those trying times. Rudy also put NYC back on the map. Before Rudy, crime in NYC was out of control. Tourists avoided it like the plague. Rudy "cleaned up the streets" of NYC. There were SUBSTANTIAL reductions in crime when he was mayor. He made NYC a place that tourists actually wanted to visit again. Rudy had a novel idea. If you put criminals in jail (instead of roaming the streets), crime will go down. Many people referred to him as "Jailiani" - because he put all of the criminals in jail. In the 1970s and 1980s, Liberal Democrat politicians in both NYC and NYS got us into a "fantastic mess" (both financially and otherwise). It took Republican politicians in both NYC and NYS decades just to get us out of that mess. NYC was routinely defaulting on loan payments and bond payments. People were reluctant to loan money to NYC. Rudy also hated Al Sharpton (which was good). Rudy and I think alike. There were many times that I would think something, and Rudy would say exactly what I was thinking. Rudy reacted to situations the same way I would. Rudy and I have the same mind and the same thought processes. This may be because Rudy and I both come from the same ethnic backgroud. We are both of northern Italian descent. Augie
