Hi folks,
Where is Hitler's body?
A small piece of Hitler's skull is located in a museum in Russia. But where is the rest of his body?
According to the KGB, Russian troops found Hitler's dead body at the end of World War II. It was in a bunker at the Third Reich's headquarters in Berlin. Russian soldiers shot Hitler's dead body and even shelled it. This is how the piece of his skull was separated from the rest of his body. After that point, the details get sketchy.
Hitler's body was buried and exhumed numerous times, repeatedly over and over again. Russian soldiers carried his body with them as they moved across Germany. Two separate autopsies were conducted on Hitler's body - because Stalin wasn't satisfied with just one. He wanted to be absolutely certain that Hitler was dead (after what Hitler did to the Russians). After that point, the story gets even crazier. Several different retired KGB agents all gave different accounts of what happened to Hitler's body after the second autopsy.
Some agents claimed that Hitler's body is buried in what is now an expensive suburban area (literally in someone's backyard). Some agents claimed that Hitler's body is buried in what is now an industrial garbage dump that is full of toxic chemicals. Some agents claimed that Hitler's body is buried in (under) what is now an auto repair shop.
The truth is that no one really knows - except for a few select retired KGB agents. For some reason, they chose to keep the location a secret after all these years. Some people feel that these retired KGB agents deliberately gave different locations to throw everyone off and confuse people. I don't know what purpose that serves 60 years later. What could they possibly have to gain by keeping the location of Hitler's body a secret today?
