Hi folks, Where is the Ark of the Covenant (Moses' Ark that contained the 10 Commandments)? According to legend, it was in Israel for a long time. Then it was given as a marriage gift to the leader of Ethiopia. Then it was on an island in the middle of a lake in Africa somewhere. Then it wound up back in Ethiopia again. Supposedly, it is now located in a shrine in Ethiopia that is off-limits to all humans (except for one person - its keeper). No one is allowed to look at it. Is it really there? Does it even exist anymore? Augie

I've not voted because I don't believe it ever existed.

I've not voted because I don't believe it ever existed. Hi Slaine, Huh? ? Your statement just blew me away!!! I've never heard anyone suggest that before. Are you saying that Moses' Ark never existed? There are records that have survived from antiquity that indicate that this Ark was given as a wedding gift to the leader of Ethiopia about 1,500 years ago. About 1,000 years ago, this Ark was located on top of a mountain on an island in Africa somewhere. It was covered with a tent. To this day, there are still holes drilled into the ground where the tent posts were mounted. If that object (the object given as a wedding gift, and the object on that island) was not Moses' Ark, then what was it? Augie

Hi Slaine, There is also evidence to suggest that this Ark was located on top of a mountain in the middle of the African dessert about 1,000 years ago. To this day, a religious sect still lives on top of this mountain. They have an ancient book/Bible (about 1,000-1,500 years old) that documnets this. It describes how the Ark was kept there and its journey leading up to that point. If this object wasn't Moses' Ark, then what was it? Augie
