Hi folks,
I am absolutely convinced that Atlantis existed. There is no doubt in my mind. There are ancient Greek documents from antiquity that mention Atlantis as a real place that existed 3,000-10,000 years ago. But where was it? These documents say that Atlantis was a place "beyond [west of] the Rock of Gibraltor". But they don't say exactly where it was.
I feel that Atlantis was either the Rock of Gibraltor itself, or it was a place close to it (possibly an island(s) off of the coast of Spain/Portugal).
It couldn't have been a huge continent in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean because the timeline is way off. Yes, it is possible that such a continent existed millions or billions of years ago. But Atlantis is no more than 10,000 years old (maximum). Additionally, humans evolved only 10,000-20,000 years ago.
The Bimini walls have now been proven to be natural formations - and NOT man-made. So, that knocks out the Bahamas. Also, the people from that era did not have vessels (boats) capable of crossing the Atlantic. They only traversed the Aegean Sea, Mediteranian Sea, and Black Sea. They didn't have ships that could cross the Atlantic.

Hi folks,
Let's review who existed at that time.
There were the Egyptians, Chinese, Phoenicians, Persians, etc. Parts of Greece were inhabited, but they hadn't yet formed a union. Pretty much all of western Europe was either uninhabited or it was inhabited by native, barbarian tribes. Italy was inhabited by the Etruscans, Sabines, etc. The Greek and Carthaginian colonization of Italy hadn't occured yet. The Greeks and Turks were only beginning to become civilized.
There were some cities on the western shore of the Black Sea. This was called Thrace back then (Bulgaria today). These cities are much older than Greek cities (like Athens, for example). These cities ceased to exist right around the time that Atlantis supposedly ceased to exist. Coincidence? A series of very powerful earthquakes swept thru that region at that time. These cities literally fell into the Black Sea. They are now at the bottom of the sea. They were just found fairly recently (1990's). There are 2 reasons for this. First, the Black Sea is very dark and murky, with poor visibiliy under water. This is why it's called the "black" sea. Second, that part of the world was part of the Soviet Union until recently, so it was off limits to people.
These Bulgarian cities are like Pompeii and the twin cities of Soddom and Gamorah in the sense that they ceased to exist because of a natural disaster. Did the same fate happen to Atlantis?
There are also "missing" cities all over the ancient world. For example, there is at least 1 ancient city (and possibly as many as 3 ancient cities) in southern Italy that are "missing". We know that these cities existed from ancient records. But where are they? No ruins have ever been found. People have been looking for these Italian cities (and other cities) for 2,000 years, but they can't seem to find them. We are reasonably certain that they were either coastal cities or islands.

Hi folks,
According to legend, the people of Atlantis supposedly had magical powers. I think that is just a load of bullshit. People probably just made that up. There may have been a few people in Atlantis who had "special" powers, but I don't think that all of them did.

Hi folks,
I think I know what happened to Atlantis.
Pres. Bush and Laura Bush were both visiting Atlantis. They both farted simultaneouly. This caused numerous severe earthquakes, several volcanoes to erupt, numerous plagues (frogs, locusts, etc.), fires, etc.
The destruction was incomprehensible. Their farts caused Atlantis to disappear into the sea.
